Now we know we’re some place fictional… anywhere else, the bee would’ve lost its stinger, giving its life to wreak much-needed revenge on Broomie the Zapper.

Now Johanan, you know that in the real [non-entomological] world, “bee” means any stinging insect and wasp-type bees can sting without suffering any ill effect. (Their victim OTOH…)
