Yagh! I agree with Alice’s reaction in panel 5. Little yappy (or, in this case, wirfy) dogs tend to be less friendly than bigger, medium-sized and up, dogs. I suspect they have inferiority complexes and are driven by doggy machismo to prove themselves by their aggressiveness. There are, of course, exceptions. My neighbor’s little dog merely wet herself in the condo elevator when I greeted her in a friendly way. But, in general, I’ve had better interaction with Irish Wolfhounds, Great Danes, and German Shepherds (except one) I have known than the yappy set….
