The Born Loser by Art & Chip Sansom PRESTO PESTO Brutus: I'd like a pizza to go. Brutus: How much is a small pizza? Cook: Six dollars for a small cheese pizza, plus one dollar for each topping. Brutus: That's fine. I'll have a small pizza, with pepperoni on it. Cook: Okey dokey. That'll be twenty bucks. Brutus: Twenty dollars? No, it should be seven dollars - six for the small pizza, plus one for the pepperoni topping! Cook: You only want one piece of pepperoni?

Sounds like pizzerias around here. I have to order it with extra cheese just to get a minimally acceptable pie.

Some of the frozen store brands are not too horrific. You can enhance them with things @ home like cheeses, herbs, spices, etc. I’ve heard some use peanut butter, but don’t know if they lived to offer critiques.

I had a roommate once who handled the household bills and kept a running total so I’d know how much I owed him every month. Every once in a while I’d be a little short or a day or two late on a bill so one day he talked me into paying a late fee, it sounded reasonable so I agreed. It wasn’t until later that I found out his idea of late fees weren’t so reasonable. I thought he was going to do every month as a lump sum and if I was short I’d owe part of the late fee, what he had in mind was a seperate late fee for every bill, and if I made a partial payment the money would go to pay off the largest bill first and work it’s way down to the smallest. That meant that if I was $5 short on what I owed and there were three small bills of $3, $1, and $1 I owed $30 in late fees. We weren’t roommates for much longer after he started doing that.

We make our own pizza and it’s delicious……..better than any of the chains for sure and mine is really fresh, hot and made the way I like it. Just like the NY pizzas we ate as kids!

Learned how to make Bread Dough years ago so I could make My Own pizzas with the right amount of Cheese and toppings.Generally of the “Deep Dish” variety since rolling the crust super thin is a lot more work.Besides, I LIKE bread.

Pizza places make a lot on toppings. when you order 2 toppings, you get half of the pepperoni they would put on a pepperoni alone and the other would be half of the single pizza.
