“I go ahead and do it anyway” comes from a few lines I’ve heard different motivational speakers use (I picture this said in Dr. Phil’s voice). It’s just how people speak. Sometimes if you use proper grammar, it can ruin the punchline. And sometimes I do it just to tick the grammar nerds off. ;)

I wish I knew how to diagram on a computer and how to submit such graphics on a post, or I would post my response.
