I started carrying canvas shopping bags. Then a month ago they say if you don’t wash them regularly you can catch E-Coli. Rather self defeating if you ask me since you need to use water & detergent to clean them with
Specifically, hot water, thus wasting a lot of energy. Yet another idea that looks good on paper as long as you don’t look too closely! Like CFLs… (Which do NOT save energy and are TERRIBLE for the environment, and should be banned!!)
