Yeah, he had to be retrained to work in the pit, cos they don’t have windshield vipers on race cars.

When he’s behind the wheel and wins the race, he spins those tires, creating all that smoke, otherwise known as viping.

Worked out better than the pit bull. Kept charging all the red cars.

The recipes don’t bother me. I treat them like any other post I don’t find interesting; I scroll past it. Perhaps you should try that.

Probably the best use for him would be to bite the opposing drivers…….say, whatever happened to the Mongoose, anyway?

    Thanks, Alexi…

I took mine down too…even though I think it’s something a lot of posters on GoComics should see.

Actually, because of other comments here, I think I’ll re-post that link. This was NOT about a recipe… it was about something I see every day: people posting Far Side strips, which they don’t know upsets their creator, Gary Larson…and sometimes also the cartoonist whose forum is forced to host “competing” cartoons.

Click here to go to Creators.com and read A plea from Gary Larson

Meanwhile…. whether you want to read recipes or don’t…whatever happened to manners?Whichever side you’re on, bullying is bullying, and a clique mentality is unacceptable, minority as much as majority.

Dogsniff… you’re a good friend… I hate to see you get yourself so riled up over nothing!

Alexi….one problem that I see is that whether or not people want your recipes (which I don’t, sorry…unless you’re a fabulous cook and have invented them….in which case a link to your blog would do…. all the published recipes I could ever want are on the internet)…or are willing to scroll past them… which I am…..

it’s your method of posting them, and other comments, that incites contention.

Surely you’ve been on forums where even a post in ALL CAPS is received with rejoinders of “Don’t Shout!”

Your caps, bold, extra white space, and giant avatars make it look like grandstanding..like you’re vying for attention, positive or negative…and directly challenging the nay-sayers.Somehow, I believe that’s not your real intent.

I really feel like people read my posts, and would read yours, too…without a magnified avatar, plus 3 line or paragraph breaks on each side of every phrase…and without a whole paragraph of extraneous book information…Author and title in small caps looks nice…Publisher, date, ISBN etc are for shopping, and readily available.Just MHO…. thanks.
