Tom the Dancing Bug has issued a small update:.Work continues on the French graphic novel that has been keeping Moby Dick away from acting as the Great White Backdrop for our Finalists. The giant sheet of white paper was quickly replaced by series of short term fill-in beasts: an abominable snowman, an albino elephant, a hastily painted Goodyear blimp, and so on. The novel is expected to wrap up production somewhere around mid-May, and Moby will be shipped back here at GoComics to resume his ensemble chores once more. He had time for one quick quote for his fans… “It’s a living.”

At least Scully doesn’t put his characters in a featureless void.
