I used to hold my sugar-water feeder at arms length to see and hear them better as they fed. They were especially entertaining as they battled for position during their Sugar Wars.
When I hang new a sugar-water feeder in a different place, they are there before I can close the window. It is fun to watch them in the flowering bushes zipping about.
