nicotine addiction makes people do crazy things. one lady who used to work with us would have to smoking break once a hour for 8 hours. her face had layers of makeup(probably because her face was weathered like a catcher’s mitt). had a raspy voice. and, we found it funny that she would need to smoke even when it was really cold outside(-10, with -40 wind chill). she tried to sneak around by smoking in the doorway(which set off the fire alarm and stern meeting about smoking). smoked in the stairwells(another trip from the fire dept and another stern meeting). smoked in her car(dropped cigarette, set car alight, fire dept, and another stern meeting). smoked near some dead bushes(fire dept again, another meeting). and, we also had a guy who chewed. however, he created a plumbing problem(deposited his wasted chew and spit down the toilet, toilet clogged, flooded the bathroom, and another meeting).
