A tortured analogy?

No, a donut’s more of a toroid analogy.

It’s true! You ask, “Is Man a peninsula?” And the answer is “No, Man is an island!” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isle_of_Man

Yawning seems to fit in the same category as earworms, donut craving, and itching. Caulfield is usually just a nuisance. But this time he’s a menace to humanity.

“ARGHipelago”? I’ve know “archipelago”, but this doesn’t seem to be an alternate spelling.

For anyone who finds “Happy” to be … not the ideal song to have in one’s head … may I suggest Tacky by Weird Al?

I guess the point Frazz is making is that he is trying to dismiss the phrase “no man is an island” by showing that not all islands are alone in themselves? Some are clusters of islands? Little hard to work through.

Every man is an island; every island is part of the same planet.
