Dad: Baldo, you should read the newspaper. Baldo: Dad, paper is so old fashioned! Dad: What's that? Baldo: Homework...reading assignments...quizzes..tests...
We were supposed to go paperless but in insurance, people/companies want to see reams of it for their money. Also, I read that us oldsters were trained to read on paper and miss things on screens. I don’t know how true that is, but I prefer to read on paper because it is faster, no scrolling, paging quicker. Then again, I like my Kindle.
About mid way through 9th grade, homework was causing such conflict in our home I told my daughter to quit bringing it home. She still passed the whole year with straight B’s. That’s how useful homework is.
It was thought that computers would cut down on the amount of paper being used. In reality, the opposite has occurred. With computers, productivity increased causing an increase of documents being produced.

Newspapers can be made into papier-mâché which will then make a piñata.
