June: Ralph, we need to pick a new paint color for the walls! Ralph: How about white? June: Don't be silly! We have hundreds of choices! Look! Bavarian cream, sugar cookie, pumpkin pie, graham cracker... Ralph: By the way, what's for dinner? June: Why must you always think of food??

Back in the ’70s there was a short-lived sitcom called “Turnabout” in which a husband and wife switched bodies. In teaching him how to do her job as a cosmetics-company executive, she said the main talent required was the ability to come up with eighteen new names each year for “red”.

Actually, when we painted our house we had to choose which of the 18 shades of “white” we wanted.

Hey, wait a minute! Saturday’s strip showed the house and yard covered with snow and with a snowman. Yesterday and today, the snow is all gone and it looks like spring. Sure was a short winter!
