Today is day thirteen of a thirteen day work week. (Ten hour days.) Tomorrow I’m doing nothing but Thursday I’m going into town to take a look at, and restock, my booth. After that ill give you all and update on hoe things are going there.

@Noreen KloseNo, she doesn’t have bragging rights, I have a grown grandson and am a great-grandmother of a lively and lovely 2-year old.

To all those who commented on my baby freezer: durned tootin’ I’ll be keeping babies in there: baby beef (young steer or grain-fed veal [if I can afford it]), baby pig, lamb, young chickens, etc….., freezer jams, fruit for pies – oh, I have big plans for the baby freezer.

Beviek – those kittens could get lost in that guy’s beard. x_Tecfh – thanks for Oliver’s x-ray. Now we know what colors he ate. Curiosity satisfied!

I am so glad to be here. There are rumblings of discontent on other strips that have gotten kinda ugly. One (funny, sharp) poster said something rather…..uh…….nasty about another poster and got banned, That unleashed a flurry of comments about multiple postings, postings about stuff other than commenting on the comics etc. It’s gotten so I’m afraid to post a picture at all.But here……..here we embrace everyone’s right to post a zillion cat pics if that is what you want to do, and feel free to tell us all about your aches and pains, and how life is generally unfair to you, and we will pat you on the back and offer hugs and “poor baby’s”Here is love! Yay!

Thank goodness X-Tech was able to get Oliver x-rayed. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep not knowing what color his jelly beans were. lol-————————————————————————————Folks….PLEASE exchange e-mail address and/or phone #’s with another TC fan so we are able to keep in touch.

I don’t comment here as much, but I read everyday. I figure you all have it covered here, :-) But yes, we need to have a system set up in case, God Forbid, something should happen to any of us. We had that at The Tribe once upon a time. Now there are just a few of us left, a small few.

THE IMPORTANCE OF USING  CORRECT E-MAIL ADDRESSES !  A couple from Minneapolis decided to go to Florida for a long weekend to thaw out during one particularly icy winter. Because both had busy jobs, they had difficulty coordinating their travel schedules. It was decided that the husband would fly to Florida on a Thursday, &the wife would follow him the next day. Upon arriving as planned, the husband checked into the hotel. There he decided to open his laptop &send his wife an e-mail back in Minneapolis. However, he accidentally left off one letter in her address, & sent the e-mail without realizing his error. In Houston, a widow had just returned from her husband’s funeral. He had been a minister for many years, who had been “called home to GLORY” following a heart attack. The widow checked her e-mail, expecting messages from family &friends. Upon reading the first message, she fainted &fell to the floor. The widow’s son rushed into the room, found his mom on the floor, &saw the computer screen which read; “To: My Loving Wife” “From: Your Departed Husband” “Subject: I’ve Arrived!” “I’ve just arrived &have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then! Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was. P.S. Sure is hot down here!”
