Where’s the sightless sap’s own pup?

Hummmmmmmmmmm……..Yesterday they guys cut the snowman in half with a totally different stick……and the day before that they each had there own stick……..Me thinks there is Cartoon Phys-niks at work here !

I didn’t think this was making fun of the blind man at all. It is a cartoon and it was making fun that the dogs did not realize that it was a useful ‘stick’ to someone other than them. I laughed – but at the dogs -not the blind character.

There’s a moral to this strip. What’s useless to some can be a life saver to another? I agree that it is a different “stick”. The last strips it didn’t look anything like a cane. I’m just worried that the blind fellow is going to fall into the puddle. I’m old. I’m allowed to worry about stuff like that. That’s why I didn’t find today’s Poncho funny. I’m usually at least smiling.

Gilligan states he doesn’t care, blind folks don’t read the strip anyway!
