Is that what is considered irony?

if tv advertising is used to pay for development and broadcast costs, why is it that i have to pay for it? i figured out of the 2 or 3 hundred channels we pay for on cable, we watch maybe 5. now there’s a lesson in there somewhere….hell, that’s about how many are “over the air” broadcast for free!

IT SEMS LIKE ON ,MOST CHANNELS THAT THE COMMERCIALS ARE LONGER THAN THE SHOW

No commercials on HSN except the ones for HSN.

When cable first started, the biggest selling point was that it was commercial free. Well, greed took care of that and except for premium movie channels, commercials are everywhere. I generally record my favorite programs and fast foward through the commercials.

Never…ever,ever, watch HSN at 1:00 A.M. while drunk..

One week later stuff arrives at your door that you have

absolutely no idea who,(or when), ordered it..

When cable first came out you had to pay for it because it had No Commercials………just programs and nothing else. So much for progress!
