I saw one TV commercial where the only thing they bragged about was the stereo system. Nothing about it being economical, safe or comfortable. Just the music system. Guess which car I’m not even thinking about buying.
It is depressing to shop for a new car now, so few need a hands-on driver like myself. Someone must have decided to take away the driver’s task and replace it with entertainment.
Turned off the bluetooth in my Subaru outback. I think it’s far safer to use a headset than to play with buttons on a steering wheel… plus if you aren’t alone in the car you can’t answer or everyone hears your business.

I got so frustrated trying to teach my latest Cadillac voice commands, I gave up and cursed at it!
It was really annoying when the car cursed back…

And have you ever tried to have one of those miserable laser cut chip keys made? $175 for a key?
