I’m not African-American, but Trump calling the Month that does seem rude.

C’mon guys, give Trump some credit. He is probably going to be responsible for the largest Latino (and others) voter turnout in history.

I dunno, I did read that the Native Americans on the Trail of Tears (in the middle of winter, Jackson couldn’t wait for better weather?) were given blankets that had been used at a smallpox facility. Hygiene being what it was, they undoubtedly never got washed, so I don’t know if it was on purpose or not.

@Don 57 That is past history. How long is someone supposed to pay for the past. Smarten up man. The pot is kept boiling by the likes of Sharpton and other so called black leaders. They are making a fortune out of the turmoil.

@cepa Come to the party man. !00% of black slaves were owned by a few rich southern crackers that somehow decided it was cheaper to import blacks and make them do the work that itinerant workers would have been glad to do. It’s little different than the Company Store in the coal mining districts in the 20s and 30s. It is ludicrous for blacks to be griping about their condition. As are we, blacks are their own worst enemie. They have the brains and with all the programs , set up by whites, the opportunity to escape poverty, but not the will. Many have found it is easier to scam their way through life. Frankly whites and affluent blacks are weary of trying to put them on the right path.

@Don57 Back in those days African tribes were raiding and enslaving members of other tribes just as they are today. I don’t see any blacks clambering to go back to Africa, because little has changed. It is easy to blame blacks woes on whites because you can get money, but the truth is whites comprise just a small part of blacks troubles. Like middle easterners today these people have been killing each other for generations and the lucky ones are the one that managed to get away.

Case in point. I just read where some black guy (Kanye West) is asking some white guy (Mark Zuckelberg) to pay off his 53 million dollar dept. Why didn’t he ask Oprah or P Ditty, Or any one of a number of black millionaires, because they would have laughed at him, so he goes bowing and scraping to the rich white man for a hand out. The more things change the more they stay the same. If Zuckelberg refuses West will call him racist.
