Heart: So what are you going to tell your dad about his film getting ruined? Dean: Nothing... Dean: To tell you the truth, I'm not sure he even knew he had it! So why open that can of worms? Heart: Which could open an even bigger can of whup-- Dean: Uh, yeah, that too.

Uh, uh, uh, ahh, you know this a family strip. Just like my direct-to-video family movies (3 so far).

Uh, it might be worth the effort to see if the film can be restored. But they are kids.

well if he owns up and tells his dad he just might find out that the film was just one of about a dozen always best to be honest

Obviously no wimpy time outs in this family.

They just threw it away? Why not take it back to the film guy and see if he can salvage it? What a crappy way to end a storyline

surely there has to be more to this story line. maybe a mystery man will come in behind them, snatch it up and restore it. Otherwise? Worst, most pointless story arc in a long, long time.

The film had to be destroyed, because it would be too newsworthy were it to survive and become known. It was the stuff dreams are made of…
Actually, I was mostly hoping that this storyline would involve us meeting Dean’s dad. Oh well.

Of course, it’s still only Thursday. We’ve still got tomorrow and possibly Saturday to put a cap on this. I don’t think it’ll turn out to have been one of multiple copies, but we may discover that one of Dean’s Dad’s friends was known for his wicked Spielberg impression.
(Not a prediction, of course, by any means…)

I hope this isn’t the end cause that’s a really bad way to end it. Just throwing it away. It’s not even real and I twitch at the mere thought of throwing it away. Even broken it’s still worth a lot! I have a set of ANH records that are broken in half and I bought them that way because to me they are still worth it even if they are broken.

Heck, the case just got broken, They could take it back to the film guy, put it in a spare case and get it working again.
