There was a dead squirrel on my lawn between my house and the neighbor’s, on the side where I couldn’t see it. He saw it, and after a couple days rather than pick it up with gloves or a shovel and flip it over the fence into the woods, he poured bleach over it.After a couple years the grass grew back. Idjit.
One of the reasons urban cat owners should keep their cats indoors. There’s no real reason to let them outside. Benefits are they’ll live longer, won’t bring in diseases they might get from feral cats they might associate with, not having to bring them to the vet because they got the bad end of a fight, or getting killed by a car or some deranged person. People who think they need to roam, need to do a rethink.

Seems to me that if he killed it there would be no evidence lying around.…except for a few loose feathers…
