Good Morning Dry. I have slept well the past two nights, thank you.

Barbacoa is slow cooked meat, that is basically the Mexican bbg. Your order is up and I never am without HOT salsa. I also have about umpteen bottles of various HOT sauces for you to peruse.

Oh Cleo the consummate host! I shall peruse a bit of each of the hot sauces. That beef sounds delicious, BTW! Glad you slept well, my friend, so did I.

My husband has a bad cold and all of us are catching it because he can’t keep his stupid germs to himself! I think I’m going to Lysol wipe everything I see.

poor mia bellla! one of the dogs over here, she is a smart one sometimes. she has learned that her mommy Mrs p. Dosent go many places with out me going with her, so every time i walk in the door she runs out looking for her then comes back inside all sad and down looking and goes lay down in her doggie bed. poor baby! Her other dog is going to be 15 this month she dosent realy notice she is not here, well if she has she hasnt said anything.

so my dog and me ran down the road to sonic and got an ice cream cone for me and fries for her. well she ended up getting some of both and so did i. she seems to only eat her fries with ice cream now. how did she get to be so spoild u ask? don’t look at me look at her maw maw (mrs P)

Tabby, the other dog hasn’t said anything? LMBO! You are so silly. I hope your fingers are getting better. I made chicken fried steaks for dinner, yum yum! I’ll try to spray my husband with Lysol, but I think I have to wait until he’s asleep. If he wakes up, I’ll just tell him that Cleo and Tabby told me to do it. Hee hee!!

Carmy I spent one eve before Christmas Eve a couple of years ago sleeoing on our couch so I wouldn’t get sick!

I have spent my day doing tons of laundry, picking tons of tomatoes and cooking them up to freeze, stopped canning a while back, and picking beans! Sounds excting, “don’t it”?

Oh, and sneezing my head off! Finally found some 2 year old Clairitan and took one. I’m still here so it mustn’t have been that bad that it expired in 2008! Didn’t want to take my Benadryl because that makes me sleepy.

Shika, I’ll sanitize my laptop so I won’t spread any germs. My throat is already feeling sore. Tabby, you don’t need to take the blame for me. I can handle “it.” You best get to bed early for the early start in the AM. Dry, I hear you, I’m trying to distance myself from the sick person and I’m washing my hands a lot. You did so much today, are you tired? I’m glad you have the day off tomorrow! Benadryl knocks me out like snappy quick. I’ll get some on Tuesday whether I like it or not.

Carmy I find Zicam really works for me when I feel a cold coming on! No I’m tired, but I can feel it starting. I’m winding down so tired will hit soon, I’m sure, unless I get my second wind! LOL!

Carmy What works for me is a hot toddy before bed. I sweat the germs out.

Shika, I am not wearing a wet suit, a tuxedo, a pair of overalls, a Ronald McDonald costume… :-)

Carmy, I always wear my birthday suit, except when it is getting pressed.

Carmy yes it is over the counter. The best of it was Zicam swabs (on a Qtip thing) that you swabbed the very outer rim of your nose with every 4 hours. Took that off the market because they said it COULD cause you to lose your sense of smell, no proof, but you know how that goes! They still have tablets, nose spray and throst spray. I use the throat spray or the tablets that dissolve in your mouth. Main ingredient is zinc. but they REALLY DO WORK. Lessons your cold, and if you catch it in time, I have found I don’t get the cold! Cold eeze throat lozenges work almost as well, but they leave an after taste in your mouth for about an hour. If I end up getting the cold because I waited too long,and I feel really run down from it, I also make myself beef or chicken broth loaded with garlic cloves and parsley and take Airborne and I’m good to go and over the cold in 3 days.

Cleo, your suit gets pressed? Doesn’t that hurt you? Dry, I’ll have to keep my eyes out for what you’ve mentioned the next time I’m at the store. I’ve been having sinus problems, probably because of all the meds they give me. I hope I’m not catching a cold.

I wore my birthday suit a lot this summer. Mom gave me a lovely birthday suit- jacket and skirt.

Carmy Make a note of the names Zicam and Coldeeze. If they tell you it’s okay, you should try it. They do work. Also Airborne, again ask before you take, but I’m sure you know that already! :-)

All that sneezing today I thought was allergies which I never had before, not hay fever types anyway. Now I think I may be getting a cold too. Both kids are also sneezing. Tell your hubby I said thanks a he@@ of a lot, Mister! Didn’t feel like a cold this afternoon, but now it’s starting to, that scratchy feeling in your throat, you know.

Dry, I haven’t been sneezing, but my nose is itchy and runny. My throat was sore earlier, but it seems better now. I will definitely ask about the cold medicine before I take any. Sorry, I know my husband should keep his germs to himself. I can go put a muzzle or whatever on him.
