Except for Liõ, the other kids may not want to go to story time at the library again… or the library at all.

Mortimer Creech has a tough audience! Only Lio appreciates his unique style; those other five kids are ’fraidy-cats!

In my daily email, the images are quite a bit smaller, and I initially read the poster as “Ghost Reader.” It put a little different twist on my first impression of the strip! Made me wonder if a ghost reader reads what a ghost writer writes.

Lio loves it, but the other kids think Motimer’s farts smell like death!

Reminds me of a Charles Addams cartoon; man in a movie theater…

So what’s the big deal about Mortimer Creech? I discovered he is buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Madison County, Arkansas…

Only Vincent Price’s reanimated corpse could possibly be creepier!
