Nothing wrong with clawing your way to the top of a billion dollar industry. Just remember your friends in Washington.

Now Clyde was probably a bully in school.

Clyde mocks people - he is a hateful person…

Clyde doesn’t mock people. He asks pointed questions of his conversational partners in the manner of Socrates, to point out the folly of their assumptions. OK, he’s kind of a smartass sometimes, but not out of hatred…

BTW, fritzoid, did you ever happen to see “Reynolds Unwrapped”, for August first?

Ushindi, I HADN’T seen it (that’s not a strip I follow), but now I have, and THANK YOU!

I can in all honesty say that having Howdy Doty booted was not an unalloyed pleasure; I’d have greatly preferred that he left voluntarily. I’m reminded of an exchange from the first “Batman” movie:

Politician on TV: “We’ve got to clean up Gotham City, and make it fit for decent people!”

Jack Napier (Joker): “Decent people shouldn’t live in Gotham City. They’d be happier elsewhere.”
