What’s funny is the concept of the yuppies driving the gangs away.
The neighborhood just isn’t trashy enough for them.
Gangs need recruits to survive, as well as productive victims. Yuppies like our stars here, are unlikely to be either, as I would guess neither is the neighbor.
Uh, pardon me Claire, any more of that coffee available?
Run! Run from there as fast as you can! Yuppie Gangs… They’re the worse!
Sounds like the Belltown neighborhood in Seattle. The only diff is the gangs & crackheads are still there along with the yuppies & nightclubs
Claire - rejoice, being a yuppie is fun! Having been a yuppie, then a muppie and now an ouppie, I do know. Life is just a bowl of cherries.
Oh, yes, ok, explain: ‘y’ is for ‘young’, ‘m’ is for ‘midddle-aged’ and ‘o’ is for ‘oldie’. To go on: ‘u’ is for urban. ‘p’ is for ‘professional’,
Can anyone help with the remaining ‘pie’ part? Personally, I have always thought of those letters as just making up a phonetic acronym.
