Republican Establishment: Trump's painting us as a bunch of rich, arrogant elitists with nothing but disdain for the little guy... Time to unleash a multi-billion dollar ad blitz and scare those bone-headed rubes back into line!
Republicans have failed to achieve consensus on unifying their base. This has resulted in a scattershot approach to communicating with voters during their primaries. This has been the most divisive political primary in modern American history and is positioning the most divisive political figure to serve as the GOP’s standard-bearer.
The problem is that what Republicans truly want — low taxes on the rich — is very much at odds with what the base wants. It took thirty years, but the base is beginning to notice.
Good cartoon…and accurate. The following quote is also factual…-————————————
The only difference between the Republican and Democratic parties is the velocities with which their knees hit the floor when corporations knock on their door.
Republican candidates’ policies are to lower the highest income tax rates and to continue to count hedge fund managers’ incomes as carried interest so they can continue to pay lower capital gains rates. Most want to lower the cap gain rates more. Then when they discover shortages, they raise the sales tax, which affects the lower income more drastically.Look at Kansas.
Why anybody in the world would think that a corporate welfare queen like Trump would care about anybody other than his fellow corporate welfare queens has always baffled me. (This leaves out the whole thing of Trump being a con artist, bigot, crybaby, coward, and lunatic, of course………)

No, they are perfectly happy to keep taxes higher on the middle class and poor as long as the rich get sweetheart deals.

Another right wing insult artist without an argument, just invective. You see the kind of people the fight wing fascists attract.
