So I had a pushmower like that once. I put it down on the side of the road as trash and went and bought a new one. The kid up the street came by and asked if he could have the old one. Next day he’s got it fixed and is happily cutting the grass over at his house. LOL

If it won’t start, check the spark plug. They can become rather fouled if your equipment has been put up for the season without being properly drained of fuel and the spark plug removed and stored separately, with an oily rag stuffed in the plug hole. Cleaning or replacing the spark plug usually puts things right, unless your engine is worn too badly or burned up from having to use corn ethanol in your gasoline.
