I wouldn’t dream of eating a burger or hot dog without onions. It’s uncivilized.

    Good morning, Crew!

We had a dog years ago that loved onions. He would curl his upper lip back and chomp away on a whole onion if he got the chance. I think he died before the age of 14 though. ;)

Never heard that onions or garlic were bad for dogs. I know a guy who starts all of his animals on a tiny bit of garlic until develop a taste for it and builds it up until they’re eating a bit of it. Then keeps it in their daily meal. He does it to keep fleas and internal parasites away and he’s never had a problem.

As the “grandmother” to a dog who can find “street meat” in every corner of downtown Portland Oregon, I know what odd food can do. She runs and gobbles as fast as she can.Among her “finds” are: A whole plate of mac n cheese, a bagel with something smeared on it, a piece of pizza, a ham sandwich, bread (lots of bread, stupid people throw it out for the squirrels), a doughnut, and a lot of “somethings” which my daughter couldn’t identify. Most of it was wrestled out of her mouth, but she gets away with some.

Daughter’s two Labs ate two newly born bunnies that they found in their yard. Didn’t hurt them.

A friend of mine left his big yellow dog in a car while he did errands… Came back to find the dog had eaten an entire birthday cake.
