I’m in the UK and I was at college for 3 years. It didn’t cost me anything because I left when I was 19 and once you are 19+ you have to pay.I was advised to stay there while it was free. Sorry but I prefer to spend my savings on more important things than college or university.xxx

I’d give anything for college to only cost $16,000! That’s now one semester’s cost. (sigh!) for the good ol’ days.

Since my son will be applying to colleges next year we have been looking at the costs.Private University ~ $65,000 /yrState University ~ $28,000 /yr
