Well, my a’s need to be more aey, my b’s need to be more bey, my c’s…..well, let’s just say that you probably couldn’t read my handwriting.

Ah, the curses of cursive…

Ha, I’ve used the word “oey” forever to describe something that isn’t as round as it should be. And no one knew what the hell I was babbling about until I met my second wife. I said it and she said “Ok, Lucy, we will try to make it more oey from now on.”

She’s a good girl.

I would like to challenge the word oey.

He’s bound to be a doctor with handwriting like that. A real one, not a fraudulent, so called one who practices without a license and overcharges like his sister.

Lucy, can Uey make a better Oey?

I think she really means more :roundy", Linus.

I’m betting Linus understands this new word, just from the context; he’s just mulling over it, being a word he’s never heard before.

I’ve never seen or heard the word ‘oey’ either, but I love it. We’ll have to work hard to get it in the dictionary, though, and attributed to Schultz. Meaning: characteristic of a standard letter ‘O’ in near-perfect roundness. Example: “I can make good circles using a compass, but my freehand efforts need to be a lot more oey” or “My homemade pancakes don’t usually come out very oey, but everyone in the family enjoys them anyway.”

I still can’t write O’s properly. I don’t close them so it’s not a full O.xxx

I have always had trouble with “r” in cursive. Can’t seem to make them “r”-ey enough…
