Wonder how long the cross light lasted back then. Wish those around here lasted what they used to be twenty years ago. Back then, depending on the light, seemed like you had a minute to a minute and a half to cross. Now it’s like five seconds to maybe twenty seconds if you’re really lucky. It’s no longer “walk – don’t walk”. Now it’s “run like heck and hope you make it to the middle of the road before cars get the green light – don’t walk”

By law cars must wait for pedestrians (red or green).
