I’d say something political, but it’s far too easy!

More like the unpredictable. At least that’s what in-betweens do.

Playing cowboy/-girl sure were fun back in the day… until the space race came in.

So after Sergio Leone came along did he play the ugly? (at this point it’s just over two years until Eastwood’s first uncredited minor film role in March 1955’s Revenge of the Creature Never seen it, but I do own 1956’s Away All Boats and did see an uncredited Eastwood in that film.)

Starting to get a sophistication that would come to attract many who seldom read the comic page.

Here is where an already-growing-in-popularity comic picked up more readers, as people were taken with these children who used big words and discussed important topics. “Peanuts” was about to enter the Golden Age.

And for old times’ sake, the strip featured only the original three characters on this day.

While usually entertaining, Peanuts wasn’t always a really “laugh out loud” sort of a comic strip, but this was one that actually made me LOL.

Charlie Brown is representing the Republican Party in this strip. If there’s one thing they’ve been this year, it’s hypocrites.
