I had a friend who often tried to say two or three things at the same time out of impatience to get them out. Sometimes she’d mash them together into a word salad, sometimes she’d make sputtering noises, and sometimes she’d act EXACTLY like Violet!
This seems to be a common set up in these early Peanuts strips – makes me wonder what dark, sinister things the old Charlie Brown was up to? It WAS the 50s after all, and attitudes were different back then.

It could have been worse. She could have said something unprintable. Remember, in comic strips symbols were used to indicate cussing.
