    There was a MAD magazine article about a greeting card manufacturer who did cards for all occasions, telling the interviewer to name one. He says “This is silly, but my niece was bitten by a dog last week…” and the guy shoots back “That’s easy! What color dog?”

    Many Jews have a tradition of sending New Year’s cards with the approach of Rosh HaShanah in the fall. But this was a December strip, and anyway I don’t recall Schulz ever putting any explicitly Jewish characters in the strip.
