This is not the black-and-white weekday Tarzan, this is the 3-color Sunday Tarzan. No lions will die. He will put the lion in a full nelson sleeper hold and the kid won’t be hurt. Too bad, actually (about the kid, not the lion). But I’ve been wrong before.
