Bloom County by Berkeley Breathed for June 07, 2023

Ah, yess, the Boingers on Tour story arc, 1of Bloom County & BB’s finest. I remember the original comic strip run in the Cincy Enquirer, I was, like, 15 yrs old, loved the rebel spirit of this more than a mere comic strip creation!

They’ll just have to put your eyelids in time out, in the back of the van, while you’re driving.

I had the anthology “Billy and the Boingers Bootleg” that had plastic 45 record/flexidisc with a couple of songs on it. One was “You Stink but I Love U”. I think Breathed had a contest where he asked heavy-metal/punk bands to send in songs and the top 2 were chosen.. Pretty innovative idea by Breathed and a dang funny arc.

The bus came by and I got on, that’s when it all began,

There was a penguin at the wheel of the bus to never ever land.

And other stuff I don’t recognize!

Last time he set the cruise control and walked back to talk with the others. Do not give this penguin a Tesla.
