Philip Kives was he tireless TV pitchman whose commercials implored viewers to “wait, there’s more!” while selling everything from vegetable slicers to hit music compilations on vinyl.
He coined the phrase “But wait! There’s more!” K-Tel International pitch man who, single handedly, drove the 20th Century NUTS with his brand of advertising. And it continues to this very day!
That’s a perfect tribute. …And I’m thinking, Just add the included long handle to the angel’s harp and you have a tennis racquet! Or a guitar! Put the two short handles (included!) to either side and you have a VeggieMatic! It slices it dices! Remove handles and you can strum your angelic harp again and accompany your heavenly choir. Reminds me of the Atlantic City Boardwalk in the 1950’s. I wonder if Mr. Kives ever worked there?
