*RRRINNG!*
Nate: Yesss!
Teddy: Free period!
Nate: Let's hit the computer lab!
Teddy: Yeah! We can see how many people have watched our movie on youtube!
Nate: Four isn't a lot.
Teddy: Especially since we've both watched it twice already.
Well, an unknown youtube channel, with one video won’t do very well in an hour, also you have to factor in haters, they say that anything made by a child is rubbish, that they should get off youtube because they “are crying for attention, trying to be like real youtubers” I can’t remember where I got that quote
I have a similar story. In fourth-grade, a group of kids and I schemed to become famous by posting a parody of “I’m Sexy and I Know It” with dogs on YouTube. It had an award-winning title: “I’m a Puppy and I Know It.” I can still sing some of my lyrics. In the video, two of the kids hold up their dogs and wave their legs around as if they’re dancing.Don’t bother trying to look it up, because it was taken down a few weeks later. I think it had something like- drumroll, please- an incredible 13 views. One of those views was when I showed my great-aunt, who cried “Those poor dogs!”
You have to share the video on Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter. Otherwise the only way people see the video is if you get popular or if the tags prompt pickup during searches. Like “The camera man never expected this” or “Trailer for new marvel movie” or “costume malfunction”
Ironically, a friend of mine posted a video on Youtube today. It already has a couple more likes than Nate’s and it’s been on for less than five minutes!
Well actually the way YouTube works is that no matter how many times one person watches it, it wont count as more than on view. So if they have both watched it twice, then it will only count as one view each. 2 others must have watched it as well.

Slow and steady wins the race – also they actually need to promote the movie for it to spread faster than that. :)

It’s not the quantity of time it’s the quality.

Silly Nate and Teddy, don’t you know that the only way to get views on YouTube is to play video games and scream into the camera as much as possible?
