    Too true Snoopy. The folks who drop out of the races have dwindled away for two years minimum. Some it’s for good, you don’t see them running any more. Some don’t seem to try to run until the second election after their campaign dwindled away. Some just wait a couple of years or so then they start getting back out there and try running again.

    And by dawdle out they usually mean (in the United States at least; Canada – as always – is different) that the money is dawdling coming in even when it isn’t dawdling going out.
