I remember one time when I was doing drafting and design work I was dealing with a problem that I could not figure out. I came up with the answer to the problem while I was sleeping one night and remembered it right up to when I tried to impliment it at work the next day; and it was gone, just like that.

I’ve always believed in the clarity of the mind that happens in the shower. But 15 minutes after the shower… it’s all a fading memory…

Have a note pad (or scratch paper) and pencil in the bathroom for the purpose. Then the only problem will be remembering what the note meant.

I keep a little waterproof notepad (rite in the rain) and pencil in the shower for just this reason. Use it all the time.
