Reminds me of an episode of Twilight Zone where this selfish, self-centered playboy type guy was stuck in a room with a grandmotherly type woman who had many, many photo albums of her grandchildren to show him. They were in the same place but it was heaven for her and hell for him.

The fact that there is a stairway to heaven and a highway to hell is indicative of the expected fluxes towards the two locations…
