No, Cruz, in most jobs, you don’t expect the outcome to change. In fact, you generally don’t want it to, since 99% of the time, it’s not a change for the better (neither for the product, nor for the worker).

My place is so wacked out, I got called on the carpet for trying to help the customer.

Actually, Einstein said, “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is insane”. It is not the definition of insanity.

Sounds pretty much like my job too, only most of the customers are pleasant and I only work two to three days per week so my paycheck is much tinier.

That’s going to be hard to choose Cruz.

Now that’s a true philosophy.

I thought it was the definition of stupidity.

I disagree with that definition. Even if you do the same thing again and again, the external circumstances might change and affect the outcome.
