Hobbes, don’t kill Calvin’s imagination; it’s what keeps you alive.

There IS a movie theater someplace. Just not near you.

Sounds like the theater is in his mind. Quite a show going on in there.

An yes, the times where you enter the woods or the sea and everything looks alive. I wish I could see a whale though. All I’ve seen so far at sea are manatees. But I can’t complain.

A six-year old in a canoe with only a mentally animated stuffed tiger and a paddle? I think not. They’re really in the bathtub imagining themselves (assuming Hobbes imagines ) afloat!

LeadingEdge said, about 11 hours ago@Night-Gaunt49…both my kidneys and heart are targeted by Type II diabetes.

Type II is TOTALLY manageable compared to Type I which is what I have for 23 years. My body doesn’t produce any insulin, so I’m completely dependent on multiple daily insulin shots…

As you know, I am also Type I but for 54 years now. I was diagnosed at age 13. Your A1c is slightly better than mine at 6.9, but my doctors think I am doing well, all things considered.

Oh, and by the way, that teenager wants his heart back…snerk

As noted by Night-Gaunt, Calvin and Hobbes should be wearing floatation devices.

In Minnesota it’s a requirement for kids under 10 years of age unless the boat is moored or the child is below the top deck or in a cabin on the boat…
