Coincidentally, my partner just took his dog to the vet this morning, convinced the dog had skin cancer. Turned out to just be scabs from infected tick bites.

Truck is used as well as lorry (or wagon, in some areas) in the UK, and in this context ātruckā has the right feel.

Trying to get a basset up on the table could be about as awkward. Iād think the lorry backs the truck up & parks it.
