Reading library books is great fun!
I used to walk to the library and bring home 10-12 books. I could barely carry all of them. Still read a lot.

When I was that age the nearest library wasn’t within walking distance, but my parents made sure I had access often enough to avoid letting books get overdue. Generally speaking, I read each book several times before we had to take them back.
