We’re getting rain Thursday and Friday. It’s been in the 60s and we were freezing camping out on Monday and today. Good thing we have a heater in the trailer.
Wow, Bev….it spent two hours in the air …it’s a long way to California….but I caught it!
Thank you…it’s so pretty!
I’ve never seen an umbrella with tomatoes on it… I’m sure my tomato plants will like it…as long as I don’t make them stand under it, cos they like to get rained on.
Meanwhile….humid?Not really.
Chilly for July… but then, June seemed hot for June. Our weather changes quickly, and the forecasts are amended hourly to match whatever’s happening outside the window…and they pretend to forget that they predicted otherwise, just a few hours before.
@Tony“Humid?”Georgia in the summer? Yeah, it’s humid all right. I’m practically drowning every time I go out for a run.Since everyone else has been talking about their July 4th weather, we’ve been having a major drought the last month, and it was getting to the point where it was probably too dry to shoot off fireworks, but fortunately we got a short (15 min) downpour July 4th afternoon. And we had another short shower yesterday, and some pretty good rain today so far, so that’s been good.
Not so much today! Late yesterday rain came down in buckets here in Southern Minnesota. Fortunately, we got the car in the garage before any damage occurred!
@Tony: I live in southeast Virginia. Humid is a given from June through September.I work in a medical office. You NEVER say “quiet day” unless you want chaos to erupt.

It’s pretty much always humid here, unless the wind is coming out of the north – which doesn’t happen often in summertime.

Sure. We could be dealing with a hurricane.

In a dry spell, if I haul out the garden hose and water everything, it’s sure to rain later on!

By the way, is anyone in the need of any buckets?
