The edge of the deck isn’t very even, did Mr. Deck forget to measure twice and cut once?
Trimming the edge is one of the last steps in deck construction. Now, can I have a fresh cup of coffee please?

When building a deck it’s common to cut the ends off square AFTER the deck is all laid (built my own decks but if that guy was available for the next one….)
