Narrator: The Brad Anderson Recognition Committee of Portland, N.Y., has dedicated a larger-than-life bronze statue to honor their hometown son, Brad Anderson, and his comic creation, "Marmaduke." They are still doing landscaping and a walkway of personalized bricks. Bricks can be ordered at polarengraving.com/bradandersonregognitioncommittee (no spaces).

Congrats on the statue Marmaduke! I knew a Great Dane named Marmaduke in 1970. He lived off Alvarado rd in Berkeley. He used to wander too! Once he was taken/stolen, missing for months!when they finally got him back he’d turned color from the stress. somewhere I have his pix from before.

I love Marmaduke. He is my absolute favorite doggy. Thanks to Brad Anderson who was a creative genius. You are and still are a Wow Mr. Anderson—a Bow Wow!
