There was a time I forgot my apartment keys upon returning home from church… I left them at the church. Had to phone my cousin who took me home to take me back to the church. The room the keys were in was still open thankfully.
A true plugger would have a big ol’ keychain with at least 25 or 30 keys on it, many of which are for locks that no longer exist. Very hard to forget or misplace.

Password or passkey. Useful items but not interchangeable, got to be one or the other for that lock.

Lock the front door to keep strangers out. Leave the back door unlocked in case a neighbor needs to get in. Got an apple pie that way.

Carry a second, spare set of keys, always keep track of both.
