Girl: My summer mission statement: "learn something new every day". Frazz: Did you learn something today? Girl: You bet! Frazz: What? Girl: I guess remembering didn't make it onto the mission statement. Frazz: That's efficient. Then you're free to relearn stuff.

You can learn the same new thing, and make the same new friends, each and every day.(To have a feeling of accomplishment, you have to at least remember that you did those things, if not the particulars.)

It is not a storage problem. It is a retrieval problem.
All of those things you have learned and absorbed over time are all still in there. Just finding them is the hard part.
