good morning we are all going to have i-hop for breakfast and im going to try to stay awake in class today, wish me luck. Mater (my dog) was having some bad dreams last night. her hair on her back was standing up from the top of her head to the tip of her tail and she was growling and barking and it was all while she was sleeping. she sometimes barks in her dreams, but never a mean bark like this. she had some bad dreams. so i held her and told her it was okay mommys here. she didnt buy it. it was about midnight before she finaly calmed down and i got to sleep. my poor puppy! so now im in class…. it has not started yet…. and im fighting my sleep. chewing gum is not helping at all. i need a LOT of caffiene. bbl going get things ready for class. ((hugs))

Took my car in for it’s 30,000 mile check up. What a racket, they say it’ll be a bit over 700 bucks plus they made sure to tell me to return the loaner car with the same amount of gas in it. Grr!

30,000 mile check up, how old is your car that it needs that much work done to it? Yeah and they should supply the gas!

Here’s a kicker, the new car that we got in Jan. is already close to the warranty mileage! About one more short road trip and the warranty will be off!

This isn’t work Dry, it’s all maintenance stuff, like changing the oil, rotating tires, checking brakes, fluids, etc. That’s why the quote startled me so.

so is it 4 yet? im telling you it feels like im going to work all day insted of school. I cant say that i have learned much, well today i learned that if you put a fresh water fish into a saltwater tank it will live, but if you put a salt water fish in a fresh water tank it will die, and maybe exploade. yep oh and last week i learned how to make a power point…. yep good learning i tell u. sigh why do we have to go to school? oh and its freezing someone hold me!

There is a restaurant in CA called the Luftwaffle. Odd place.

HOWDY SHIKA! I didn’t foget that chocolate is good for you, TURD made a comment! You can buy them in the grocery store, Sunsweet brand, Chocolate Plum Sweets they are called. I bought mine in the aisle that carries the canned fruits, jellos, etc.

How was your summer JFri? Ours was very cool and not good for tomatoes or peppers. Our raspberries and blueberries were practically non-existent.

LilG’s mother’s birthday is in the next week so we are going to Sequim to LilG’s brother’s house. We didn’t realize that it was the wooden boat festival in Port Townsend so we have to be at the ferry at 7:15AM for the only reservation on Friday or Saturday. It will be an early Saturday Morning.

It was a much cooler than normal summer. I think we only had 10 or 12 days at 90 or more. We did hit 100+ 2 or 3 times but those numbers are way below the usual.

Yesterday we hit an all time record for rainfall in 60 minutes. Well over an inch and most of it fell in 20 minutes!

Since we are further north our highs hit the 80s only maybe 6 times. I keep track of rainfall and highs and lows. Last year, the weekend ahead was hot, one could only hope it would be a repeat this year.

Bummer on the early ferry ride! Port Townsend is such a nice town!

We are supposed to have rain this weekend. More likely on Sunday but Saturday is still iffy.

I just checked my temperature readings. We only had 8 days of 80 or above and the highest temp was 88.2 on August 15th. Yes that is an early ferry. We will have to leave here at 5:15AM.

Port Townsend is a nice town. I used to date a lady who lived there, but the ferry made the whole relationship ridiculous.

We have been getting our share of rain lately. I am a diligent person at watering our outdoor plants. I have abstained over the last week because of rainfall and it is amazing how much better plants respond to rain over watering. They look revitalized and have grown more in three days than over a month of watering.

We didn’t have any rain until yesterday.

The good thing is the rain predominantly comes at night.

Well I am going to hit the sack, nice visiting with you all.
