Half-wit coaches like this get FIRED these days. One local told a couple volleyball girls they looked like tramps in their make-up and he was no longer coaching.

Testy, aren’t we. I love one way PC. How many strips have you seen with men lying on the couch with a can of beer? How many women? Yup, Betty and Gloria created equality. Two equalities Ever hear “911, my wife is throwing pots and pans at me”? Ever hear “911, my husband is cussing me.”?

If you picked B you might understand the skewed statistics.

Can I hear some liberal outrage? Equality. 50% violence provoked by women. Or are you sayin one gender is less? Superior/inferior? One needs protection? Equality.

Lew, you’re whining like a little girl. Man up.

You know why jokes about White people are less problematic than jokes about non-Whites? You know why jokes about men are less problematic than jokes about women? Because we White guys still hold 90% of the cards. Jokes at the expense of the powerless are another way to keep them so. Jokes at the expense of the powerful are a vital psychological coping mechanism.

You know why a man who’s slapped by a woman isn’t allowed to slap her back? Because he can easily put her in the hospital by doing so. If she’s got a baseball bat or something, that’s another matter, but your average man can very casually cause serious harm to your average woman in a moment of anger.

Furthermore, Lew, 90% of the comic strips which show men as idiots are written and drawn by men. It’s not a question of being PC, it’s just the nature of put-down humor.

A Jewish comic telling a joke about Jews to a Jewish audience - Funny.

A Jewish comic telling the same joke about Jews to a Gentile audience - Funny (usually).

A Gentile comic telling that joke about Jews to a Jewish audience - Tricky; it depends on the delivery.

A Gentile comic telling that joke about Jews to a Gentile audience - Probably not funny.

Again, that has nothing to do with being PC. If a joke can be perceived as in any way self-deprecating, the teller can get away with a lot more. “Candorville” can get away with jokes about Black people that would never fly in, say, “Sally Forth.”

Mountains and molehills. As far as the jokes go, it’s easy enough to tell when a stereotype or slang word is being used with hostility and when it’s not. When a White guy uses the N-word in a joke that is intended to wound and tries to pass it off with “Hey, that’s the word they use themselves”, it’s no less a hostile act.

As far as women abusing men goes, I didn’t say it doesn’t happen. When it does, it should be taken seriously. But a double standard about what constitutes violent contact is entirely commonsensical; men (on average) have greater musclemass, longer and heavier bones, and have often been conditioned to settle disputes with their fists.

The idea that White men are somehow being bullied by Political Correctness is ridiculous. Despite the de jure equality of women and minorities, the de facto situation is that we White guys still have almost every break going our way.

We need more coaches like this. I say more learning, less loafing. Enough standardized tests that don’t test anything other than the ability to take the test. Enough “I am special…I am special…Look at me!…Look at me!” Let’s replace the ego stroaking PC values with reading, writing, and mathematics again. When 40% of highschool graduates can’t point to the USA on a map our school system is terminally broken and needs to be replaced with something proven to work.

I’m in tennis class, and at the end of the year we finally had two girls that were able to to a pull up. The rest of us didn’t even try.
